Counselling / Psychotherapy

We offer a safe and welcoming space where you can speak freely and in confidence about your difficulties over a period of weekly one hour sessions.

What is Counselling/Psychotherapy?

Counselling/Psychotherapy is time set aside by you and the therapist to look at what has brought you to seek support.

This might include talking about life events (past and present), feelings, emotions, relationships, ways of thinking and patterns of behaviour.

The therapist will do their best to help you to look at your issues, and to identify the right course of action for you, either to help you resolve your difficulties or help you find ways of coping. Talking about these things may take time, and will not necessarily all be included in one session.

We offer a safe and welcoming space where you can speak freely and in confidence about your difficulties over a period of weekly one hour sessions. Sharing your worries and fears with someone you can trust who is there to listen to you, in a non-judgemental way, can be a great relief and can give hope for the future.

Our therapists will only work within their levels of knowledge and experience. On occasions it may benefit clients to be referred to other agencies for more specialist support. This will be discussed with clients.
